Let’s talk about how to use a plate loaded incline press properly. This is one of the most effective exercises for building a great upper chest shelf and developing the upper and inner pectoralis major.
Pay close attention in the video below to the various adjustments so that you avoid injury. Be sure to not hyperextend the shoulder at the base of the movement by ensuring proper positioning of the seat, and each hand.
I recommend incorporating this exercise at the earlier portion of a chest workout, given the importance of a strong upper chest.
